Stephen Appiah: Thanks to everyone for a successful StepApp to Sports Day
Ghana Black Stars talismanic captain Stephen Appiah will like to say a big thank you to the organisers, sponsors, participants and the general public for a successfull StepApp to Sports Day held in Accra in October
The event was the first of its kind by a sports personality in Ghana and it was so successful that plans are afoot to do it all over again next year
In an interview with stepapp.com Stephen said he would like to personally thank everyone involved in making sure the kids had a great time.
Stepapp caught up with Stephen on Thursday at his training base in Italy and spent about an hour with him and he had this to say ....
''First of all sorry for not saying a proper thank you to everyone until now. I had to rush back to Europe after the event andIi had a few pressing issues to deal with hence the delay in thanking you all''
''We had a great time last month at the event it was more than I expected. When the StepApp team told me to expect a good show i didnt really believe them''
''I am happy that so many people care about our kids just like I do and they demonstrated that through sponsoring the event, attending the event and cheering the kids on right through the day''
''A big thank you first of all should go to Alimighty God for giving me the chance to help my motherland Ghana and for protecting all of us on the day. We had no problems at all''
