Black Stars draw 0 - 0 with Tunisia in friendly

Milovan Rajevac had the opportunity of running the rule on a number of players as Ghana were held to a goalless draw by Tunisia in an international friendly in Accra on Wednesday.

The evening kickoff produced some football brilliance with the Carthage Eagles hitting the post before the 10th minute as Ghana’s Stephen Appiah, who was one of the best performers on the pitch drilled in a shot into the side net with his left foot.

Milovan Rajevac ringed the changes as he handed Arab Contractors midfielder, Samuel Kyere a starting place in the Ghana team with Samuel Yeboah and Samuel Inkoom all making their debut for the senior team after coming on in the second half.

Ghana slips further down in FIFA rankings

The Black Stars have dropped a single place on the world ranking table in the current edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released today.

Ghana now sits at the 26th position on the world ranking table with an accumulated build up of 805 points having lost 34 points

The Black Stars, despite slipping on the continental table thus maintain their place among the top five sides in Africa.

Ghana Black Stars talismanic captain Stephen Appiah will like to say a big thank you to the organisers, sponsors, participants and the general public for a successful StepApp to Sports Day held in Accra in October

The event was the first of its kind by a sports personality in Ghana and it was so successful that plans are afoot to do it all over again next year

In an interview with stepapp.com Stephen said he would like to personally thank everyone involved in making sure the kids had a great time.

The StepApp team can finally announce that the long awaited ONLINE sales of the StepApp clothing range started from Tuesday 15th of January 2008. The shoes and clothing range is already in Ghanaian shops in Accra and Tema. The range includes Ladies and Gents T- shirts and limited edition shoes.

Stephen was personally involved in the initial design and selection stages and has supervised the entire process to ensure that his personal style can be seen in the end product.
