Standard Water donate Custom made water to Stephen Appiah
Standard Water who were one of the sponsors of this year's StepApp to Sports have presented Stephen Appiah with 2 boxes of custom made water with labels designed specially for StepApp To Sports..
Jacob Idan who is the Group head of marketing for Standard Water presented the boxes to the founder of StepApp, Stephen Appiah in Accra.
Derick D Akubia, the MD of Standard Water praised the event and said that the company are very proud to be sponsors of such a great project and can't wait for next year's event, which is being planned to be held in Tarkwa in the Western Region
The annual StepApp to sports event which took place in Accra on Saturday 27th June 2009 is an annual event and its Stephen Appiah's way of giving back to the community and promoting sports through his foundation.
This year's event which was a football tournament for 8 youth teams in Accra was held at Liberty Professionals FC grounds in Dansoman
The event itself was attended by Stephen Appiah himself, Tony Baffoe, Michael Essien, Laryea Kingston, Sulley Muntari, Daniel Opare and the acting Minister of Sports.
The StepApp Foundation board members were in attendance as well as George Andah and Tony Aubyn from MTN and Goldfields respectively who were also sponsors of the event
Stephen expressed his thanks to the sponsors, the Stepapp Foundation board and team, the kids who took part, his colleagues and everyone who attended and promised that the event and its benefits will carry on in the years to come
